Mick is our commercial and financial director with extensive knowledge and skills developed over his 44 year railway career. A former head of DB Cargo’s construction sector sales team, Mick has an extensive back-catalogue of high-value commercial contracts in the rail freight sector, having managed the commercial relationships with Network Rail and all the major rail users in the UK aggregates, steel and infrastructure markets. Mick has also held senior roles in planning, resource management, finance and customer services and has led project teams in systems development and utilities management. After leaving DB Cargo in 2017, Mick established his own company and has had success in the freight wagon leasing market with Wascosa.
